Why A Non-Profit?
Built For Artists, Not For Profit.
The River Aude Artists Lab was founded as a nonprofit because we believe creative growth should be accessible, not exclusive. By operating as a nonprofit, we can focus on what truly matters: supporting artists, fostering community, and providing space for process, not just product.
Your support helps cover the essentials: materials, studio upkeep, affordable lodging, teaching stipends, and shared meals. It also allows us to offer more than just studio time — we host an annual summer gallery show and provide guidance on how artists can share their work with the world. From practice to presentation, we’re here for the full journey.
Support the Lab
Please Consider Donating.Your gift helps keep the lights on in the studio, brushes in hands, and artists in motion. It fuels the creative work that takes time, space, and trust, all things we strive to protect and provide.
Supporting the Lab means backing real artists doing real work, not for fame, but for growth, connection, and the belief that art matters.
